This is an annual SOCKS event geared to reduce the number of
cats and kittens in the shelter by finding them new and loving homes to allow
more to be saved/brought into the shelter. The adoption fees are drastically
reduced and the Thrift Store (located behind the shelter) will have a half-off
sale on most of everything. As always, adoptions are FREE for cats five years
of age and older. SOCKS has been in operation for more than 20 years. It’s a
free roaming, no-kill, nonprofit cat shelter and adoption center. For more
