Located along the sidewalk in front of every business along Hwy. 98 on Miracle Strip Parkway, beginning at NWF Ballet and ending at Synergy Organic Juice Bar and Café. This event features local artists and entertainment, and is dog friendly.


International Talk Like a Pirate Day

Kids can enjoy free activities such as face painting, stories, magic shows, a treasure hunt and a wagon parade at 6:30 p.m. Best decorated wagon wins a birthday party aboard the Buccaneer! Boshamps Seafood & Oyster House to Host Benefit Concert

Boshamp’s will host the inaugural Choctawhatchee Watershed Music Festival, a benefit concert to promote the health and sustainability of local waterways via the mission and objectives of the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA) of Northwest Florida State College. The festival entails non-stop musical performances by five different artists, all for the wristband price of $20 per person. There will also be a silent auction to raise additional funds for CBA programs, consisting of a BOTE paddleboard, an electric guitar signed by the performing artists and more. This is an annual SOCKS event geared to reduce the number of cats and kittens in the shelter by finding them new and loving homes to allow more to be saved/brought into the shelter. The adoption fees are drastically reduced and the Thrift Store (located behind the shelter) will have a half-off sale on most of everything. As always, adoptions are FREE for cats five years of age and older. SOCKS has been in operation for more than 20 years. It’s a free roaming, no-kill, nonprofit cat shelter and adoption center.
