The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida is offering a free lunchtime lecture this Friday during which the topic of “In and Around Choctawhatchee Bay” will be discussed by Brittany Tate of the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance of Northwest Florida State College. Tate will talk about their work in relation to plants, animals and culture. Children are welcome. Please bring a sandwich and take your lunch break at the Heritage Museum for History Sandwiched-in, an informal lunchtime education program. This lecture is free and open to the public. Pensacola Beach Air Show, Featuring the Blue Angels

This Saturday, set up some beach chairs on Pensacola Beach and prepare to watch a breathtaking performance in flight with the ever-popular Blue Angels! If Saturday’s show is rained out, the show will be rescheduled for the following day, Sunday, July 13. Also, since parking is limited at the beach, a FREE trolley service will be offering its transportation services from 7 a.m. until midnight.
