Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra - “The Stars of Tomorrow”

The orchestra will take place at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center, Mainstage Theater, at Northwest Florida State College. The cost is $22.50 for adults, $16 for youth & Active Duty Military, and NWFSC students get in free with ID. Come hear the winners of the prestigious 2013 NFSO Concerto Competition on February 7 at 7:30 p.m. in a “The Stars of Tomorrow” concert with the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. The superbly talented young musicians are featured as guest soloists with the region’s premiere professional orchestra. The Arts and Design Society presents the 55th Annual Beaux Arts Exhibition, hosted by Westwood Retirement Resort and sponsored by the Arts and Design Society. The exhibition, located in the Westwood atrium, runs from Friday, February 7, through Sunday, February 9. A reception and silent auction will be held 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, with awards to be given at 3:30 p.m. Artists in a widespread area compete for prizes in this annual event. This event will be held at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Mainstage Theater at Northwest Florida State College. Advance tickets available from Snowbird Clubs only or at the door. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Northwest Florida State College's talented group of fine and performing arts scholarship students, the Soundsations Showchoir, will perform their spectacular variety show of song and dance, in the Mainstage Theater on February 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available through local Snowbird clubs and the event is a fundraiser for the Showchoir.
