What’s happening on the Emerald Coast this weekend?

It’s a big weekend for sportsman, and fans of performance art alike. If you haven’t made your weekend plans yet Life’s A Beach wants to help. We’ve highlighted a few of the area happenings for the upcoming weekend below for your convenience.

All Weekend (February 24-26)

The Florida Sportsman Expo will take place at the Okaloosa County Fairgrounds in Fort Walton Beach. A fun event for anglers, boaters and hunters, featuring continuous seminar stages, casting ponds, kids’ events, a hands-on rigging table, free fly and net-casting lessons, the newest line-up of boats in all sizes, and exhibits by Florida’s Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission.

The Emerald Coast Chorus will present The Magic of Harmony at the Emerald Coast Convention Center from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Come out and listen to the over 40 all-male voices that make up this a cappella chorus, dedicated to musical excellence and the preservation of the uniquely American style of music known as "Barbershop."

The Broadway version of Monty Python's Spamalot is coming to the Mattie Kelly Arts Center for one night only, on February 24 at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, February 25

Don your best camo and head to Legendary Marina in Destin for the Ducks Unlimited Sportsman’s Day Out. This event is chock-full of activities for the outdoor enthusiast, including a barbeque, seminars for hunters and anglers, tons of raffle prizes and more!
